Over the past several years I have been involved with numerous business ventures, from someone with a good idea looking to implement it, to a startup company, to existing businesses. Whether being the principal, partner, or even an advisor, I have experienced the highs and lows of running a business. And while the highs are great, I believe the lows can be just as valuable as well. Learning to sustain a business through the hard times and not giving up is one of the most important aspects of being able to run a successful business, because it will not always be smooth sailing. The important thing when a business is experiencing hard times is that you learn a lesson from it, and use what you learn to make sure it does not happen again. This is what I practice when running my business and this is what I try to instill into other business owners and our clients. I have experienced quite a bit throughout my ventures, and I am more than willing to lend a hand in helping others to become successful with their businesses. I see IUG as the future of business lending. Eventually, most businesses out there will realize that a personal guarantee is not a requirement for business financing.
